Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), Provenance Meals’ legal basis for collecting and using the Personal Information described in this GDPR Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it. We may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to perform a contract with you;

  • You have given us permission to do so;

  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and it is not overridden by your rights; and/or

  • To comply with the law.

Your Data Protection Rights Under the GDPR

Provenance Meals aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have, under certain conditions, the following data protection rights:

  • The right to information: You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent, and easily understandable information about the processing of your data including whether we process your Personal Data and the legal mechanism we use for international transfers;

  • The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your Personal Data. We may charge a small fee for this service;

  • The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information that you believe is inaccurate or incomplete;

  • The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your Personal Data. This enables you to request the deletion or removal of your information where there is no compelling reason for us to keep using it;

  • The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Information. When processing is restricted, we can still store your information but may not use it further;

  • The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Data; including processing based on our legitimate interests and processing for direct marketing;

  • The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organization or directly to you; and

  • The right to withdraw: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time to future processing where the legal basis of processing your Personal Data was your consent.
